Easter Greetings!

I just wanted to pop in and say Happy Easter!

I started off all whiny because I'm used to having all my kids here the night before to dye eggs (it's a fun process when all the family is here and we laugh a lot) and then the following day, on Easter, we do a big family meal and the "Easter Bunny" will have dropped off baskets filled with goodies.

I also normally do a big contest for my kids (which y'all vote on) for the best decorated eggs or diorama egg scene.

None of that fun this year.

But then I straightened up and realized how blessed we are - all safe and sound, healthy and unharmed and I shut up real fast with my whining.

That's all that matters - not the dye and eggs and baskets and stuff.

So I hope this Easter, you're doing well - safe and healthy at home.

I started a new calendar today and realized it's 12 weeks until I turn the big 5-0 so I have plans to make for this time between now and then.

If you need a smile, here's little Mandy (my rescue dog) sleeping and making little noises as she snoozes - click on the video with sound up to hear her. She's so precious and happy. In the past couple of weeks she's become SO at ease acting like she rules the roost. It's precious. And she and Delilah just play and snuggle each other all day.
