Gratitude PLR w/Bonus, Plus - Don't Compromise Your List!

Published: Mon, 05/11/20

I hope all you moms on my list had a wonderful Mother's Day yesterday. I totally forgot to add it to my email and remembered too late. LOL! I was showered with love from my 3 babies. Not our traditional dinner out or anything but Dylan and his wife did a drive by visit and dropped off tamales and I woke up to a sweet note from Shawn and Scarlett cleaned house and helped cook dinner - precious kids!

My daughter wanted to get outdoors and maybe take some pics for Instagram, so I asked around for some input into good pic spots and found some interesting stuff I didn't know about - like a downtown mural area, a garden shop that has awesome places for pics, and more. So we're heading out to do some of that if nobody's around.

Here's what I have for you today:

Never Compromise Your Email List

One thing you should never do is compromise your list. You're working hard to build a list in the first place, so now's not the time to get restless and irresponsible with it.

What do I mean by this? You might be asked to "rent" your list out to other marketers.

That's a BIG NO!

Those people didn't ask to hear from other marketers. If they wanted to, they'd have signed up directly with them.

Selling off your list when you leave a niche is also a big NO. Just because you've decided to go in a different direction, it doesn't mean you compromise the contact information of what were your loyal subscribers by selling it to other marketers.

Another thing that's iffy - selling ad space within your newsletter. It CAN be done right, sparingly, and with a disclaimer to protect your reputation that you didn't personally recommend the product - that it's an ad. But most people don't do that. They simply sneakily rent out the ad space and it looks like a personal endorsement.

That's not what your people want. They look to you for solid recommendations and guidance.

Okay, that's it for me today - have a great rest of your day!

Tiff ;)
