We Start Tomorrow! Plus, Know Your Why PLR Deal

Published: Sat, 06/06/20

Yesterday my son Shawn went outside and started work on a garden area for me. He's creating a big area with walkways and tall raised beds that are made of stone so I can sit on the ledge and not have to deal with painful knees! SO beautiful. I can put trellises out there and everything. This is what I told him I'd love, only with more beds and everything because I have lots of backyard space:

He cut some big branches down hanging over the space, started clearing and level the area, and then he'll study and shop for the materials. But I love checking morning and evenings on my little container garden plants - it's a nice mental cleansing being outside and growing things. Reminds me of gardening with my dad. I'll share a funny story about that below.

So here's what I have for you today...

And by the way, if you're in my Master Domaining review, lesson 83 is now ready for you!

What Are Your Current Strengths?

Some people focus so much on what they lack that they don't even know what their strengths are. There are things you can do to combat this.

First, brainstorm a list of things you do better than some others. It can be something minor like having a positive disposition when you interact with people in customer service, or you go the extra mile to show additional steps when you teach something.

It could be things like time management - you're good about sticking to a schedule, or technical tasks or networking.

Start by making a list of things entrepreneurs need to be good at to succeed - things like branding, social networking, product creation, etc. Get as specific as possible (drill down) to give yourself plenty of room to find things you're good at - and don't neglect the mindset things as well as the heart - your compassion for helping others, for example. Sometimes just having knowledge of what you're good at fortifies you against self doubt and helps you help others.

Funny gardening story: When I was little, we didn't have our backyard fenced in. And we had some mean neighborhood boys living next door. An old hollow tree stump laid in between our properties, sideways - it was maybe 4 feet long and huge. I used to love sitting on it and dawdling while my dad tilled or whatever.

Well one day the log started talking to me. LOL! I FREAKED. It was not a nice log and I ran screaming into the house and refused to go out and garden for a long time. Found out much later, the boys had put a walkie talkie inside and used a mean scary voice to make the log "talk" to me. Ha ha ha! I think, even after I found out, I was still scared of trees for awhile.

That's it for me today - have a great rest of your day!

Tiff :)
