From One Info Product to an Online Empire
I'm going to start a series about info product development. Even if you start off as an affiliate marketer, it pays to someday go to the effort of creating your own info product. It can be any format you want, but you get to flip the tables and have an army of affiliates out there promoting for you, instead of the other way around.Start with a single title - and build on it until you have an empire of information out there. Brainstorm a list of the main topics in a niche that you want to cover and then organize it logically. For example, if you did a gardening empire of info products, you would place soil optimization before harvesting, right? Do the same in any niche.
And yes, you can start with ONE. You don't have to wait until you have a whole library of products to launch. Try to make them evergreen so that if someone is introduced to you via your 5th info product, they can easily go back and buy products 1-4 without any problems.
You can create info products for one or more niche markets and use pen names and personas to crossover. People always ask me how they can do niches like marketing, survival, knitting, etc. Just pick a pen name! No harm in that as a blogger. Or use your own name. People aren't one dimensional. I garden. I golf. I market. I do survival stuff. I have a toy niche. I cook. I love and know many things that I can share.
It's not difficult and you can outsource certain elements you don't feel comfortable doing. People get intimidated by info product development. But you can choose a variety of media formats, take your time and do it however makes you most comfortable. And if you get stuck or even don't enjoy something, outsource it!
