Yay! My A/C guy is coming out today. I'm so glad my air conditioner never quit working. And we *may* have even fixed it - it's not leaking anymore. But I want him to do a tune up just in case. You can't NOT have air in Texas during the summer. Too brutal! 

I had to laugh because I was working on my Snake Diet sales copy a couple of days ago and about 10 minutes in, I realized I wasn't editing the NEW Snake Diet page. I was editing my Stress Addiction page with Snake Diet info. LOL! So for about 10 minutes, people landing on my Stress launch page were probably VERY confused to be reading a mix of that and snake diet stuff. Blooper!

Choosing a Unique Slant for Your Info Product

I always get emails from people worried about slants. What if someone else did it? What if nobody cares about that? There are a few ways to ensure you pick a solid topic. 

First, research what already exists (Amazon Kindle, ClickBank, JVZoo, Warrior Plus, BN.com, etc.) Whether it's a digital or print course, or even a YouTube channel, you can gauge the interest is has based on reviews, ranking, comments, etc.

Second, write down topics being covered. Not just the main ones, but what's inside the course? You might want to narrow down your slant a bit and looking at a table of contents, for example, can help you do that. 

Third, brainstorm gaps in the marketplace or combine slants for something unique or targeted to a specific demographic. Maybe you know of something people gloss over or haven't created products about yet. Or, you know how to combine slants, like gardening for stress relief or golf for anti aging.
