Be Careful When Using PLR - Do It the Right Way!

I sell PLR and I use it - and it's a tool that can be very useful because it's a shortcut and time saver, so if you don't have time or talent, it takes the burden off of you for blog posts, emails, product creation and more!

It's especially useful for newbies because not only can they buy it cheap and instantly have a product to launch, but they can learn from it too. They can buy a course for $10 or $17 during a launch that might normally cost them $97 if they bought it without private label rights. 

There are a few things that make your use of PLR even better. 

First of all, there are a lot of scumbags and morons creating it for a quick buck. Some literally scrape the Internet, bundle up content that's not theirs and sell it. Others write random things without doing any research and they're not correct. That's especially worrisome if you're in a health niche. 

Learn which vendors have a good reputation and buy from them. I laugh about vendors I see going down with bad ethics and poor quality and them simply coming back under a different name. I caught one once who I quit promoting and figured out their new name was kinda similar to their old one, so I blocked that one, too. LOL!

Look for people who have been in this business for awhile and the people they promote who are new, but who have good quality. The people who don't care about their customers will hire cheap writers who put really bad content - all so they can rake in the money and pay out as little as possible. 

Try to tweak as much of the content yourself as you can. Use it as a springboard for your own content. Even if all you can muster is a new title, try to do that. I usually rewrite the PLR and just use the ideas. I like things to have my own wording and style, but if I'm short on time for ideas, it helps. 

Always make sure you're considering the license of the PLR seller. We ALL have different rules. Some force you to rewrite everything or keep eBooks intact while others say you can have more freedom, leave it as is, and break it up. 

Make sure you're not turning around and selling the content as PLR yourself. That's usually against all rules unless it's called Resell PLR. I had someone do that to me once - they bought my PLR, turned around and sold it as their own during my launch. Really angered me.
