Sales Objections, Email Marketing Planner & What's in the Upgrades?
Published: Thu, 08/13/20
It is absolutely sweltering here in north Texas. We need to do some yard work but when it's this hot you kind of start thinking, "Oh well." I gave up on my garden. It was watered perfectly and still wilting. I think it's just too hot here for anything to want to grow. I'll need to do it in the spring probably.
Okay - if you're in my Createful Journals review implementation, I'll be posting lesson 69 later today. (If you still want to join, make sure you use coupon code: TIFFSAVES30 at checkout). People have been asking what my review implementation means. What I do is offer my commentary as I go through each lesson. Sometimes I'll have an additional tip to share or a question (which Sue has come to answer). Sometimes I do the lesson and share my example, etc.
You don't NEED this to do her course. But for some, it helps to see someone else taking a daily spot out of their schedule to work on getting through a course (it's something many people struggle with) and it proves that you can complete a course without all those shiny new object syndrome issues. Her course has a lot of PowerPoint tips and some other tools she shows us how to use. I've enjoyed it so far - learned a TON!
How to Overcome Sales Objections (New PLR)
I think this is a great topic because it's perfect for most of us - those who need to sell products and want to convert more customers without being pushy, those who take it personally when someone says 'no' to their offer, and those who are uncomfortable or don't know how to respond when potential clients and customer raise an objection. With Sharyn Sheldon's new PLR, called How to Overcome Sales Objections, you’ll be walking your students through how to:
- Recognize why prospective customers buy
- Identify the 5 key types of objections and the psychology behind them
- Develop a positive mindset that sees objections as opportunities
- Use a proven, step-by-step process to address objections in real time
- Respond to common objections during a sales pitch
- Anticipate and prevent objections before they arise

Something(s) That Irks Me
This is a tip on what not to ever do. It was a discussion I was having with some friends about bad form in the world of marketing. First, don't copy people's work. Sounds normal, right? Even if it's NOT an info product that you're ripping on, it ALSO goes for other things, including their emails, their JV page, their sales copy, etc. The only thing you can share of theirs is a post or meme or something that is normally shareable.I saw someone who I thought was cool who literally ripped off someone else's swipe email titles. Now it's even harder when someone partners up with someone else and you don't know which person is the copycat, but that's not my responsibility to figure out, so if you align with someone and they rip other people off, you don't GET to claim you didn't know.
Another thing that irks me are those who snipe affiliate contests. This has happened to me in contests where thousands of dollars were at stake, but it's something sneaky that you can't prove. What happens is, some marketer will be in 1st or 2nd place of a contest and then at the last minute, they send money to friends to buy the product through their link so they can win the contest.
I just found out yet ANOTHER person I didn't think would do this, did it. Don't ask me who - that's not important and it doesn't affect customers, just affiliates. But it's just so gross. And I know some people who do this are reading this, so maybe they'll wake up and see how dirty their practices are.
That's it for me today - y'all have a great rest of your day!
Tiff ;)
