You just got this horrific gigantic email paragraph from me - all because
Aweber decided to change my defaults without me knowing it ;) So here
is the right one.
I'm very happy my son returns home from Galveston today. He
slept on the beach for 3 nights and helped Galveston with Hurricane
recovery for 4 days. It's amazing to me how much long-term
devastation Mother Nature can create that takes years to rebuild.
Today I'm finishing up work before I go pick him up - and I
plan to enjoy Mother's Day Sunday by going over to my Mom's
for a poolside picnic and some swimming. Hope you all have some fun
plans this weekend.
Well let me share a few things with you:
#1 - Are You the Type Who Needs Income Proof?
Sometimes, whenever I create and launch a product - I forget that
there are people out there who rely somewhat on income screenshots
to make a buying decision. That was one of the very first
prerequisites I gave up when I started out as a marketer - because
they can so easily be manipulated by the skilled PhotoShop crowd.
And I get leery of those who lead with that slant.
When I listed my How to Launch a WSO on JVZoo guide, I was caught
offguard when someone said it didn't look like I had been
successful, and could I prove myself with income shots. At first I
was bristled - you know how text comes off with a tone of voice of
its own.
I was already in bed and I tossed and turned because I thought,
"How many others are going to see that and not know me and
assume I'm a liar?" The next day I got up, un-archived my
proof, and made screen shots to post. The original person who has
requested it replied with a very kind thank you, etc.
I never mind backing up what I say - and in this case, yes I do
make good weekly sums off my little JVZoo WSO launches like this:

- $3,397.01 - 1 week
- $4,403.00 - 1 week
And remember, this is one branch of my business. For my smaller
little listings, I've made:

- $1,050.00 - limited licenses
Like I said, I never mind providing this information - it's
just that I myself buy on a much deeper level - who the person is,
what reputation they have for helping, reputation for product
quality, etc. I am BLOWN away by the kind words my buyers have left
me, and if the real screenshots help (because you all know my
PhotoShop skills are nonexistent), then by all means, I'll
share them!

#2 - Work Chair
Okay this is weird to email about and it's not an affiliate
link. But many of work at homers don't have an actual office. I
never wanted one (until now, so I'm renovating space). I always
worked from my couch and man, it makes your back take a beating.
So I ordered two temporary fixes - a cheap desk and a nice faux
leather chair to work from. I got the chair today. It was just $159
- looks about $500 - and it is so comfortable, I may not EVER quit
working (that's what my Mom tells me). I sat down in it and my
back just cried out in appreciation.
I dislike typical office chairs. They're not big enough for me
and I like to sit "Indian style." So with this, I can.

#3 - WP Safe Install
Remember when I was having all those issues with Hostgator
crashing? One of the issues they talked to me about during my
support with them was installation and apparently, my old school
way of using Fantastico was leaving my site open for hacks.
That's what sucks. Hackers prey on people like me with
virtually no technical skills - the ones using "easy"
methods. Paul Irvine and Garry Sayer paired up to create a
walkthrough of safer WordPress installation for people like me -
who need every step spelled out, screen shots, and videos.
