Well yesterday was the big day for me to get out and be social
volunteering at the Republican Convention here in North Texas.
Right before I left, I got a call telling me that my dad's in
the hospital with a clot in his leg. So I called him (he can't
understand or hear me well but he knows I was on the phone). They
say it's not serious, but I'm a worrier of course. I still
went, since I can't go to Florida anyway, but it put a damper
on everything.
Today I'm working on my upcoming course on video blogging - AND
a little Kindle fiction, too!

Yesterday I got out (for the first time in oh 16 years?) and was
not a hermit - went to an event alone to volunteer. There was good
and bad.
