Want to Know What My Best Piece of Advice to You Is?

Published: Thu, 10/02/14

Hi !

You may or may not be one of the people who email me for help. Once
in awhile I'll have someone send me a brief note of thanks for
something I blogged about, and they ask me broadly if I have any
advice for them on how to get started.

I do...

My advice is this:

Create something and launch it imperfectly, tweaking as you learn.

If you're sweating bullets trying to get everything "just
so" before you create or launch something, you're really
impeding your own success.

Get out of your own way, please.

Everything online that you create and launch - guess what's
cool about it?

It's e-d-i-t-a-b-l-e.

Oh, and nobody expects perfection. There's a bonus tip for you.
99% of consumers are okay if there's a typo or a glitch -
they'll kindly notify you. Yes, there's that 1% of jerks
who flip out from behind their monitor - weed them out - who wants
to help them, anyway?

I'm so proud of so many of my subscribers who email me all
nervous saying they launched something. Or confidently email me -
either one.

They're taking ACTION.

I'm super impressed by action. I got an email from Chantal
Vanderlaan today. She got out there and put her incredible design
skills to use and launched something.

And guess what? When she launched, one of her affiliates got into a
discussion with her and she tweaked her launch. BAM!

Right in the thick of it.

Oh, and lightening didn't strike her when she did it - the
world didn't stop spinning - she survived. It's just what
is done.

And check out how great her first launch is - it's her
Christmas Profits Online Business in a Box (w/PLR rights) sale:

http://jvz1.com/c/5810/124427

It has 3 beautiful custom designed Christmas mobile responsive
themes, preloaded WordPress, 30 PLR articles (oh and I tacked on my
2013 Christmas Gift Bundle as a bonus through that link above to
give you even MORE great content), stock images, source files, and
an install guide.

This is a woman who took her vision and her skills, created it,
launched it, learning as she went, LISTENED to others, tweaked, and
is providing great value to her consumers.

We all have to get sick of our own excuses and our lack of
confidence and our whining about crap going on in our lives
sometimes and just flat out DO SOMETHING.

Be like Chantal and all the other action takers out there. In fact,
set a date. When's the launch? Announce it. Create it.
Imperfect? Launch anyway - tweak as you go.

Get one under your belt.

You can't start leveling up until you start moving in the
"up" direction, right?

Even I am leveling up at all times. I partnered up with someone for
a launch Monday JUST so I can LEARN because I don't know
everything. I don't know every best practice.

Okay I'm exhausted - this month is crazy full of activities. I
just got home from the second of two volleyball games this week for
my son and now we're getting ready for Spirit Day tomorrow.

Saw one of my teachers from 25 years ago tonight. I'm always
shocked when they recognize me after so long (oh and so many extra
pounds), but they do!

Have a great Friday coming up - I'm taking my kids to Medieval
Times this weekend for some 16th century fun. Just call me...
