Copyscape Isn't Ethics-scape, Three Powerful Socialization Lessons, Timely Product Slant

Published: Fri, 10/03/14

Hi !

Waking up to nice, cool weather is great! Driving on a high
overpass in blinding rain and 80-90mph winds wasn't. I was in
tears, just knowing I was about to blow off the highway onto the
one below. Won't be doing THAT again! LOL

Today I'm working and being very productive. Wanted to share
some things with you first:

#1 - Top Selling Product Disgusts Me

If you're promoting this or just bought it, you're probably
not going to be happy with what I'm saying. Too bad. The only
way to help clean up our industry is to speak the truth and educate
people who didn't know.

#2 - Three Powerful Socialization Lessons I'm Learning

So as I explained before, one of my methods of "leveling
up" is to network with people I didn't know previously.
Some great stuff has come out of that via Facebook.

I've gained more affiliates, secured a cool JV (for learning
purposes, but yes, hopefully for a nice chunk of change, too), and
I've gained new insight on what I want to promote as an
affiliate.

So here are some things I'm learning:

- Follow people you steered clear of before.

There have been some big names who I lumped into those
"gurus" and steered clear of. Some of them are great
personalities and actually have some good content. Who knew? When
FB recommends someone to me, I go check them out and friend them if
I like what I see. Likewise, I've unfriended a few I knew I
wouldn't gel with or who I know lack ethics now.

- Pick up on tips they share randomly.

Tim Castleman, who I'd seen around but never knew, shared a
little tip about email marketing the other day. I tried it. Got
many email replies about how it affected them positively. How did I
know about it? Because of the next tip...

- Watch who people YOU like interact with.

That upper right area of FB tells you what people are doing on the
site. Kinda creepy, yes - but I use it as a learning tool. I see
people comment on something, and I go check it out if it looks
promising. I've discovered new tips and people that way. I
friended Tim because of this and then saw his helpful post.

So get out there and start rubbing virtual elbows!

#3 - Timely Product (NOT my Survival PLR)

Okay I am understandably bombarded with Ebola news here in the
Dallas - Ft. Worth metroplex, and I of course start with the
"what ifs" and scaring myself. It's okay, I'm
well aware that I'm scaring myself so I stay calm and
thoughtful about it.

But one thing I started thinking of was necessities, right? If the
SHTF, how am I going to provide food for my kids? Today's news
mentioned that the people living with the Ebola victim were allowed
to go to Walmart after being told to stay home, since they had no
food. Well this is too ick for me - I don't want to touch
shopping carts after exposed people go there.

And it might be perfectly safe - but I'm over protective, so
I'll be cautious. Therefore, I was happy to remember my Prime
Amazon account for free 2-day shipping and the fact that they have
an entire grocery section on the site!

This just might be a slant, guys - seriously. CNBC reported
yesterday that even non preppers were now stocking up (so did my
cashier at the store). So when I saw this timely product, I
thought, "Why not share the slant?"

In fact, you could do a slew of specific slants for people - like
"people who are too busy to go shopping," or people with
chronic or painful illnesses who don't want to get out and go
through a store.

And of course, preppers! People who don't want to touch one of
the dirtiest things you can touch - the grocery cart handles.
It's germ season anyway.

I love this.

In less than 2 days, this sale is over and they're jacking up
the price to $67, so IF you have a prepper or health or aging or
time management site, this might be a neat addition.

Time for me to go get busy working more - have a great weekend!

Tiff ;)
