Neat Dating Slant PLR Articles, New Fiction Biz Posts, Huge Blunder of Mine and More!

Guess what time it is? Spring Break time! I’m a happy Mom because they’re home until March 16th. I spent my morning picking up the homemade Minestrone soup my Mom made me and visiting with her – but then I dug into work and got quite a bit done.
Here’s what’s in store for you today:
#1 – Neat Dating Slant PLR Articles
Okay I’m not into horoscopes or astrological signs or anything, but when I sit there and read about my “sign,” – I mean, it describes me perfectly. So when Jeannie Giordano sent me her latest pack of dating PLR called Dating Tips Based on Zodiac Signs, I had to peek!
LOL Sure enough, there I was – tips for dating a Cancer woman. And it nailed it. I’m a homebody, I’m emotional, etc.
What I LOVED about this pack is that it doesn’t just tell the sign description. It teaches people what to talk about to that person, where to take them on a date, what to expect, etc. Jeannie’s writing is TOP notch. And her articles are meaty – all well over 500 words.
I know this isn’t the 70s and nobody saunters up saying, “Hey, baby – what’s your sign?” But the fact is, a LOT of people read their horoscope and even live life according to what it says. So it’s a worthy slant to indulge, if even for fun with your audience. I always read mine, even though I don't live life by it. LOL - Check it out here:

#2 – New Fiction Biz Posts
Progress is my new middle name. I can’t believe what logging everything transparently does for my action taking. I love everything down to the reason I named my site what I did.
Here are my first two posts if you’re heading the Kindle Fiction route:
Post #1 - http://forayintofiction.com/foray-sudden-attack-into-enemy-territory
Post #2 - http://forayintofiction.com/why-profits-before-passion-makes-sense-with-fiction
By the way, the results of my survey were that over 86% of you want to know about the business as a whole (mindset, tasks, writing, promos, etc.); 64% of you want it but haven’t tried yet; and you need help with all of it, but mostly the writing part. I hope I can help as I share my own journey.
#3 – HUGE Blunder I Did Today
In my childlike excitement to share everything with you, I created a blog post on my fiction site and blurted out everything I had found out already. Only – some of that was stuff Tink Boord-dill taught me over Skype, and I didn’t realize she was sharing info in her paid products with me.
Oops! We have to be careful when a friend shares info with us. Of course, she reached out and asked me SO kindly to maybe be careful about how much and how specific I shared the info she taught me, when she could have gone nuts on me – because this was her product info!
She didn’t demand I remove it or anything – she knew my intentions were honest. She is an absolute DREAM mentor and friend – and I was so grateful she pointed it out because what if I’d done that over and over again to everyone without realizing it?
I edited it quickly (before I emailed out – within an hour of publishing it). I have to keep in mind that sharing things I discover on my own is perfect in terms of transparency – but some people have worked a long time to develop their systems, and I can’t just run around like an excited 5 year old telling everyone what I was told. I CAN share my progress and what I’ve accomplished.
Just a heads up warning for us all to be mindful of other peoples’ hard work – learn from my blunder.
#4 – Internet Marketing - Fiction Balance
Finding my groove! Don’t forget about these FREE gems: http://www.pdfcalendar.com/monthly - print as many out as you need to. I like them because you can trash them and reprint if anything changes, unlike a regular planner.
I’m devoting half and half days right now to both sides of my business, but I’m also going to try every other day schedules. Sometimes we have to play around with our business models and see how and WHEN they work best with us focusing on them.
Off to finish House of Cards Season 3 now – just 1 and a half episodes left! Sooo good.
Tiff ;)
