I did the coolest thing today. And I’m about to sound like an infomercial, but man it was a relief, so I’m going to share. I went to the virtual doctor, got diagnosed and had a prescription filled – all on skype. I HATE going to the doctor when I’m sick, sitting in the waiting room, etc. I heard about http://www.doctorondemand.com from my Mom, but I hadn’t used it yet.
This morning I felt like I had strep throat (my son is just getting over it). I sign in, wait about 2 minutes while they find me a doctor, and suddenly there he is, looking back at me, saying, “How can I help today, Tiffany?” Ack!
He had me stand in better lighting and he guided my iPhone camera where he could see my throat while I said “Ahh.” He had me tap my sinuses and feel for swelling in my throat. He decided it did look like strep, so before our 9 minute visit was up, my prescription was waiting for me down the street. I about died I was so happy.
You don’t need insurance – it’s a flat rate of $40 (cheaper than Care Now - and they gave me a coupon code to share that takes $10 off: 3pymqbs0). Not only is it medical doctors, but if you ever need a psychologist, log on and you have a counselor waiting for you. Incredible. Anyway, I’m sick obviously, but now on meds so improving.
Still got stuff done today! That whole experience made me think about how cool virtual service providing is now. Doctors, life coaches, you name it.

I told you guys about Barb Ling’s Google Mobile report that helps you get ready for their upcoming rules. Well I got my site mobilized just fine, but for some reason, that’s ALL it showed – even to desktop users.

If your site does what mine did, ask her for the fix. You do NOT have to get rid of your cache plugin! I know some of you asked me about that. She went to the effort of making me a screen shot PDF with text instructions to walk me through it. She didn’t have to do that! That’s above and beyond customer service. A wonderful lady.
