Low Carb Beginners PLR, Courtesy Notice About Theft and How We Need Your Help

Published: Fri, 03/27/15

Hi !

I’m about to go change my contacts, snuggle up on the couch with Honey (my dog) and map out my April. My contacts have been one giant blur since this morning, when I was wiping away tears because it was my youngest child’s last play for lower school. From here on out, it’s all middle school, high school and college. Some little first grader sitting next to me watching the 4th graders was looking up at me every time I’m quietly wipe a tear away. No telling what she thought! LOL

#1 – Low Carb Living: Clarifying the Low Carb Diet for Beginners

I always see low carb posts from Lynn Terry, and she does really well living that lifestyle. Rick Warid put out a new PLR launch for those new to the diet, and it’s on a really cheap dimesale here:

In it, you get:

- Full eBook
- Minisite and sales copy
- Promo banners
- PSD files for editing
- Keyword report
- Social media graphics – have to say, his are the BEST I’ve seen to date
- Tweets
- Facebook statuses
- MP3 version of the eBook

I love how all of the PLR providers put their own special packages together, and Rick’s no different – the audio file and awesome social graphics are above and beyond.

#2 – Courtesy Notice About Theft and How You Can Help

I’ve spoken to you guys about what happened to me last year before Halloween regarding some new PLR I had created for Halloween (which usually brings in a lot of money for me), where someone bought my PLR right at launch time, sold over 100 copies as her own, and caused me to lose a lot of money. (Not to mention my PLR was then diluted, which wasn’t fair to my customers). She owed me a minimum of $700 and paid me $150, and I never heard from her again, as expected.

Well this week, it came to my attention that the same person is doing it again to someone else – a well respected, sweetheart of a marketer whose ethics are amazing. The person gave a similar excuse of “oops – didn’t realize” and took days to remove it (while still selling it, profiting, and not paying the product owner anything for the theft – of course).

A 3rd very well known and respected marketer ALSO came forward and said “Oh, she did it to me, too” – same excuse. So we’re all behind the scenes looking at how to prevent this. There are several things we can do, but for you guys who BUY PLR, the best thing you can do is alert people when you see someone else selling their stuff.

Even if you’re not sure if it’s resell PLR, let them know. That way, they can have it removed with a DMCA, etc. It’s in YOUR best interest as a PLR buyer to not support people who steal and resell other people’s content, and to help get those packs removed so the market isn’t further diluted.

A BIG group of very ethical, wonderful PLR sellers and I are taking specific steps to put a halt to this behavior by her. I’ve also notified the platform she’s selling on. But you can also do your part, too by just giving us a heads up if you buy a pack and go, “Hmm – I think Tiff sells this pack.” That way I can handle it legally, immediately. And so can the other PLR providers.

It’s ridiculous to see someone repeatedly being told not to do this, and they keep doing it, getting away with it, laughing about it, profiting from it, and just not caring that they’re taking advantage of other peoples’ decent, hard work. And aside from ME being angry about it, the two women who she recently did this to are absolute ANGELS online who you would fiercely defend because they have big hearts. Helpful, wonderful leaders in IM – and they didn’t deserve this.

I know many people stood by the thief when this happened to me, giving her the benefit of the doubt and saying they’re sure she would never do it on purpose. Well she’s continuing to do it. And it’s not okay. She has a business of PLR, so the “Oops” excuse doesn’t fly – she knows better. So let’s put an end to it.

Alrighty - off for a lens change now. You guys have a great weekend! I’m thinking of taking my babies to see the Omni Imax Theater’s Humpback Whales or Tornado Alley – can’t decide which.

Tiff ;)
