There I was in a sprinting chat last night, where we all go in 30 minute increments writing our fiction, when we started talking about food. Chocolate, peach cobblers, cheese and crackers. Next thing I knew I had posted BRB and I was on my way to the store for $28 worth of amazing summer peaches (part to eat, part to cook) and now I have an incredible cobbler calling my name.

#2 – Newbie Fiction Challenge – Join Me!
I keep hearing form SO many of you that you’re happy for me for pursuing fiction, that *someday* you, too will try fiction.
Well someday just showed up at your door. And guess what? She wants your fiction. And before you go saying, “Pffft! I have no time for that! I have to make money NOW” I want you to know that I have three kids to raise on my own AND an entire other business to run, so we ALL have time for this. Squeeze it in.
Now… I’d like you to go here and see the details of the challenge. I HOPE you’ll watch my video blog about it. Let me inject a little enthusiasm into your life. I doubt many of you are EXCITED working on your Internet Marketing. Yes, it’s great when sales show up. But exciting? Eh… However, working on fiction IS fun. I mean really fun. Laugh out loud fun. Clap your hands and squeal fun.
In month 1 (April) I earned just over $100. Not enough to live on, but it pays a bill! Month 2 (May), I earned over $700. What an amazing percentage of growth that is! I want us to grow together. I’m still a newbie, too, with just 2 short stories under my belt. But I have learned a LOT already.
