People Lie About Copy, Period.

Hi !

I'm home working in between some early back to school activities so I'll make this quick before I'm out the door again.

Here's something that bugs me...

Consumers (oh me included, trust me) sit there and say, "I HATE sales copy! It's sooooo spammy."

The same ridiculous headlines and all that.

But guess what?

I've tried both. I've done the "typical sales copy" with hype - and the "person to person, let's just talk" type of copy.

Hyped up copy far outsells just talking.

I don't know why - maybe we're just used to it and if it isn't that, we feel like it's not as good. No clue.

What I do know is the guys using this type of copy on their PLR and products outsell mine even with my QUALITY of product being much better!

I'll be playing around with it to enhance my copy. I'm thinking I can do a great MIX of the two, so I'm the real ME - AND providing the amped up copy consumers expect as well.

For those who know nothing about copy, this is a neat tool. Very easy. It comes in PDF form after creation, so then you build your site using those guidelines. Or shoot it over to your web design person.

Okay back to work - Oh, and I've lost more weight, too - 13.6 pounds down for the month. Can't wait to make a video blog and compare the two 1 month in.
