Launch Planning Lessons from Someone Who Helps Others
Published: Sun, 09/20/15
Right now, I’m in the process of walking a group of buyers through the implementation of a PLR product. I’ve been getting a lot of emails saying, “I’ve bought all this stuff and never used it until now seeing you do it.”
I appreciate the fact that I’m able to help guide people, but this is one of those Dorothy’s Red Shoes situations. You guys have had it in you all along – you’re just not aware.
You just have to try and fail forward, learning with every screw up.
I loved how one of my group members appreciated hearing me mumble on video, “Why isn’t that WORKING right?” Just seeing me go through a frustrating situation and detour helped someone.
So as I’m teaching others, I’m also a student of some, too. I told you I’m taking a copywriting course right now. I’m also picking brains of competitors who are kind enough to share their insight.
One of those is Edmund Loh – he took time to analyze my PLR launch site. He even sent me a copy of his new Mega Launch Planning course here (includes PLR rights) and I plan to buy it today because I am enjoying it so much and I just appreciate the gesture:

One reason I went ahead and started looking at his products is because others have told me, “Yeah he helped me, too!” That is worth more than any fancy graphic or perk you could show me. When real people I know say, “This guy a.) knows his stuff and b.) is willing to share information without expecting anything in return.”
So far I’ve only read the main eBook. It includes topics about research, niche analysis, sales copy, email marketing, ads, funnels, and more. Really solid information. If you need launch help and grab it, the pricing schedule is $7 for 3 hours, then $9.95 for 24 hours and then it starts a dimesale ticker. I think one thing I want to point out is that as newbies, one of the best places you can buy cheap courses to LEARN is PLR (assuming it's a good provider). Because normally, a launch course would cost minimum $47.
Anyway - the information aligns with other things I’m learning – the 2015 stuff, not where I’ve been hiding out for the past several years. There’s a part of me that beats myself up for not learning this stuff a lot sooner. How much time I wasted not implementing funnels or learning about up-to-date sales letter tools.
The other part of me is proud of myself for at least eventually getting it in gear and believing in myself – and in others. This is such a tough, yet rewarding business. I’m blessed that even though we focus on scammers, there are plenty of salt of the earth people helping each other find success for themselves and their families.
Tomorrow the regular work week starts back up. I heard a talk radio guy say today that time is a currency – and just like money, we spend it on activities. He said if you can’t spend an hour of your time each day building wealth for your loved ones and yourself, then your life is totally messed up.
I agree. I’ll now think more carefully before I hand over the currency of time to things that aren’t worth it.
