Micro Habits PLR But Also What I'm Implementing! And More...

What are y'all doing this weekend? Scarlett has finals to study for, so I'm just going to clean and prepare snacks and meals and work, of course. Not going anywhere - just like I like it. LOL

#2 - I'm Implementing It

Normally, whenever I have a deadline approaching (like NYC), I try hard to achieve a goal. I usually fail. Sometimes I beat myself up really bad - I get disgusted with myself that I couldn't stick to an extreme plan (or finish a fiction book or project or whatever). 

I've been reading that Atomic Habits book - totally in line with what Justin's stuff is teaching - and I decided to just do the best I could to make changes that were much smaller and see how they added up. 

Instead of telling myself I was going to "join a gym and join their 60 day challenge and hire a personal trainer" which I've done and failed at...I simply said, "Okay how about we walk for 10 minutes a day?"

And guess what?

I've been consistent. That's a word that has been foreign to me for a long time. Scarlett has been going with me to the park or on our street (or even me walking in my backyard) and I get prepared before I even pick her up - walking shoes and all, so we do it before we come home and get all settled in (where excuses begin).

I've started doing this with all kinds of habits - cleaning, writing, reading, eating, exercise, etc.
