Travel Niche Progress
So since my last update, here's what I did. I first got my YouTube channel art back and it was a hot mess - nothing I'd asked for. I'd sent her a deposit photos image with location "stamps" and I wanted a clean design (meaning bright/white background etc).It looked like a cable news TV channel. LOL So I asked for some modifications and I got back pretty much an okay design. You can see what she did for me here:

I definitely have things I want to spiff up on this graphics situation. For example, she didn't include the flag, so it felt kind of... unAmerican. And the put the URL in all caps, which I don't like. I prefer it to read TravelingInAmerica.com instead. Easier to read.
It was $10 so I wasn't expecting perfection. It works for now. I also uploaded that to my FB page as the cover. I simply edited it in Paint to fit correctly as you can see here:

As for everything else... well I went looking for affiliate programs. I had no idea what was out there. unfortunately MOST are Commission Junction (which I let my account go there LOL oops) but there are some on Share-a-Sale and of course, Amazon for things like gadgets. But they have them for all sorts of stuff like Hotels.com, Hotwire, etc. Lots of options. I just bookmarked them for now.
I'm not applying for any until I get my site indexed and some more content on it.
I also watched some videos from travel vloggers. I had some BIG thoughts on that and experienced what many of you experience when feeling intimidated. And then I realized I had the right way.
I'll do a video on it to show y'all tomorrow.
