Trip Report Day 3, eCom Tool, Facebook Stuff, Abundance PLR
Published: Thu, 07/18/19
I'm finally starting to gain momentum with being back in the saddle with work. Tons to still get organized, but I'm getting there. I swear it takes me a good week to pick up where I left off once I leave for vacation. Today is LIST day - I'm making all my to do lists for my business branches and starting tomorrow, I'll have the first installment of my next FREE series for you.
Some people have asked if I'm going to turn them into courses. What I MAY be doing is turning them into PLR, so if you want to grab them when I do that, it'll be much cheaper than a course and you'll have it in print with more info included. Just not sure yet.
So here's what I have for you today:
If You're Into eCom or Dropshipping Type Topics
Now this is a business branch I first started out in (in the wedding niche of all things) but I eventually just turned my attention elsewhere. It's a great business branch because who doesn't buy their tangible stuff online, right?I am not doing this business branch again YET, I may later, but many of my subscribers ARE. I found out from Simon Harries (the same guy who introduced me to the Converzly tool I love) that Jared Goetz - who came in second on Shopify only to a Kardashian in sales LOL, launched a tool that might be VERY helpful to many of you.
I have not used it but I DID watch the demo and it looks awesome. Do yourself a favor and watch that demo. I can see different ways of using this tool. You might even use it for other affiliate programs just for info gathering, etc. It's cheap, so why not?
IF this is your branch or you want it to be, this tool on sale might benefit you a lot:

Trip Report Day 3: Tuesday the 9th
For those who want to hear about it, keep reading - otherwise, the business stuff is done for the day.On day 3 of our NYC stay, we started off walking through Bryant Park – SO cute! If you want to rest and chill and enjoy the outdoors and read, go here. We walked to the library on the other side and snapped a pic in front of the lions. The stairs made me hesitate to go in due to my knee (couldn’t find other access) so my kids went in while I sat outside.
It’s beautiful in there, which I wanted to see, and I also wanted to see the original Winnie the Pooh dolls but the kids said I would have had to wait in line for a special exhibit anyway, so I’m glad I did the right thing and sat out. Some NY ladies sat next to me and struck up a conversation about where I’m from (Texas). So nice.
We then walked to Grand Central Station and it took awhile to find the whispering walls, but we did and they worked – one person stands in one corner of the room and whispers into the corner and the person opposite can hear them! It’s really neat.
Then we had to sit down for water. Dehydrated again – this is a recurring problem. LOL. Then we walked to Midtown Comics near there. Again, a steep staircase, so the kids went and shopped for souvenirs while I sat in the window on a stool in the convenience store next door after buying some NY Lottery tickets (didn’t win). It smelled horrid there – a rancid rotting fruit smell - so I rushed my kids.
Then we walked to a place called The Comfort Diner. OMG it was good! Looked like a little hole in the wall, but as we entered, you could tell it’s a neighborhood spot where they know their locals and the locals love them. There were little old men laughing together over coffee, dads and sons, businessmen, etc.
The owner walked through periodically to chat and ensure everyone was happy the whole time. GREAT food! We had chicken fried chicken and they made collard greens! As a Southerner, I was impressed. The pictures on the wall are those funny inappropriate kid’s book covers. Hilarious!
Then we took a Lyft to Serendipity 3 for dessert and my daughter and I each had the Smores Frozen Hot Chocolate. OH MY GOD. I can’t even relay how incredible this thing was. The hot chocolate is like a frozen slushie and laying across the top is a graham cracker, chocolate candy bar and HUGE marshmallow. They torch the marshmallow at the table and melt it with the chocolate and the kids behind us were begging their parents for one. My son got a sundae, which he enjoyed.
We rolled ourselves out of there stopped by Dylan’s Candy (my son’s name is Dylan so we had to get gifts) and then into Bloomingdales thinking it’d be a neat store, but it was just like all department stores – we didn’t see the big, cool décor like the Internet said they have. So we left.
That night we took a Lyft to August Wilson Theater to see Mean Girls on Broadway. The seats in this theater were tiny to me, or maybe it’s because the lady next to me was practically sitting on my lap, but it felt cramped. Scarlett got to wear her cute pink romper (if you've seen the movie, you know pink is their signature color).
The show was HILARIOUS! If you or your kids like the movie, see this! Or even if you just remember what high school was like and want to laugh at the ridiculousness of it all. It was a great time. They have snacks and merch you can buy. Because we enjoyed this SO much, we bought MORE Broadway tickets for later in the week – to see Wicked.
After this, we went to Gallagher’s Steakhouse across the street and hands down we had one of the BEST meals of our trip. AMAZING service. FANTASTIC ambiance – lovely décor and Frank Sinatra music playing. I had chicken with cous cous (yum!), and the kids had filet mignons. They got sides of mashed potatoes and mac and cheese (I got a baked potato). For dessert we got crème brulee (orange vanilla – so dreamy), a trio of pastry puffs with ice cream in them, and NY cheesecake – all delicious.
As we left, some French man with his wife and family asked my daughter (age 14 but looks older) if she wanted a sugar daddy as he photobombed her. LOL – I know he was kidding, so don't be shaken by it. I WILL say there are a LOT of real perverts in NYC. Constantly saying stuff about her looks and breaking their neck to look at her. So it’s a little different there. We put her in the middle of us wherever we walked.
GREAT night overall, though! More to come in the next installment. Here are a couple of pic collages of this day for you to see!
In this one you see the Comfort Diner meal, and my Gallagher's Steakhouse meal, there Serendipity desserts and a snap of Bryant Park:
In this one, you see the funny French guy photobombing Scarlett (don't worry, Shawn and I were ready to pummel him and he wisely kept his hands behind his back LOL), Scarlett and her trio dessert, Shawn and my desserts, and the three of us on Broadway night:
More to come!
Tiff ;)
