"If I Had to Start Over From Scratch with $38" Formula Inside

Published: Tue, 07/30/19

Well I am at a pain level 0-1. Productivity through the roof. Stress? What's that? I'm seriously annoyed with myself for not taking my son's advice for so long. My kids are seeing a big difference in me and they're happy because now I can do things like unload the dishwasher (I couldn't bend down to put the pots in the bottom cabinet before so they had to do it for me). I feel like I got in some sort of time machine and went back to my pre-injury self almost.

Almost. Pain is vaguely there, like I took it and threw it off a cliff and I can hear it falling away. Wow that was brutal. LOL! But I'd love to do that. It's a whisper now. And not continuous. I'm going to keep monitoring it though, because stuff like this sometimes only works for me for a few days and then it suddenly stops. If that happens, I might give up. I've tried just about everything.

By the way, the emails coming in want the Freelance Service Provider series to be next - so SEND me your questions if you have any!

Anyway... let's talk marketing!

Start a business with as little as $38? Really. Oh get ready because I'm about to take away your security blanket (your excuses).

My friend Arun Chandran runs a Facebook group called Marketing Miscreants (WARNING: it's not PC at all - funny to some, offensive to others with memes, etc., so don't join if you're offended easily - but also has gold in it with marketing advice). One of his questions today was about if you only had $300 and no list, no contacts, etc., how would you launch a business online?

So I did it - with detailed specifics - and came in at only $117 for everything AND if I wanted to, I could cut it down to just $38. I want to share it with you (and I'm talking about text, but you could do video or graphics or whatever you're good at).

I know what I'd do. I'd do a slant that positioned me as a PERK for being a newcomer to PLR launches. (You can apply this to an info product launch too).

Let me explain - here's a breakdown:

$13 for a Domain (actually I'd search for a $0.99 GoDaddy dot com coupon but we'll overestimate - Scott Sigler, whoever he is, always has this active code: CJCSIG99C)
$10 for Hosting at Hostgator
$15 for FrontPage 2000 on eBay (hey it works for me - super easy to use - and we're talking about a budget lol)
$47 An HTML sales page package from the guy Arun recommends - http://www.vipminisites.com/services.html
$13 for Personal Development All-in-One for Dummies on Amazon Kindle to educate myself
$19 for Aweber (first 500 subscribers but I'd sign up right before my launch so I could use that free trial time too)
-------------------
Total: $117 (You could even eliminate the HTML package, the book and the Aweber and use MailChimp instead and knock it down to $38 for the entire launch if you were desperate and broke!)

I'd go into JVZoo and W+ and keyword search on FB watch to see what launch topics were raking it in. I'd probably go with some personal development topic because it crosses niches (goals for weight loss, goals for income, goals for stress relief - whatever - it has it all).

I'd develop an outline for a funnel with at LEAST 30 front end articles and an OTO of at least 60 pages.

I'd friend all of the people who promote PLR and see who was on leaderboards for my topic in contests that have run. But I'd only friend them for now, as I'm writing - start interacting with them about normal friend stuff.

To find who was on leaderboards, go to JVZoo.com and go to Affiliates --> Find Products. Type in your topic. Like for mine I might type in "Self Help." I'd click on the launches to see if any of them had contests. Then I'd jot down the names of the leaderboard marketers, friend them and make a note to ask them later about promoting my launch.

First thing I'd do once I had my outline is create a JV page from the HTML pack I got back. I'd create the listings on Warrior Plus and I'd list it on Muncheye and stake claim to a date about 3-4 weeks away. I'd try to pick a Tuesday-Thursday date where nobody else was launching a big PLR bundle. (I'd check daily to approve affiliates and not leave them hanging).

Then I'd spend every waking hour writing my ass off and editing and ensuring my content was good. I'd Copyscape it because some people really don't grasp the concept of plagiarism - hint: you're not supposed to just "rewrite someone else's content." That's theft! Anyway, back to the motivational stuff...

I'd print out a calendar from http://www.pdfcalendar.com/monthly/ and break down my tasks, listing at least 5 pages a day - EVERYONE can do that. I can do 40+ if I have to, but I like to stick to 5 for a launch and work on other stuff.

I'd do the front end first. That way, as soon as it was ready, I could reach out to all those PLR people I'd become awesome friends with and send them ALL at once: The JV Page AND the Front End review copy. I wouldn't ask them if they wanted to see it. I'd just send it. Along with a note about how I noticed they sometimes promote that topic and that, as a NEW PLR seller, one of the PERKS for their list is that there will be less competition using my PLR.

If I wanted to make sure someone would promote, I'd bump their commission to 100% on the FE if it was a $7 (but preferably you'll do a $17 FE pack and you can bump them to 75%).

I'd continue friending and interacting with everyone.

I'd finish the OTO and send that along as well - without a long, drawn out message. Just a quick pop in saying, "Hey! Just finished the OTO and wanted to send that along in case you wanted to review it."

If I wanted to spend more of the money, I'd add some graphics to the bundles and outsource it.

As SOON as my content was done, and I was waiting for the launch, I'd start work on the next launch.

You could use the same formula for an info product if you wanted to avoid PLR. And I have the "Creating Your Own Info Product" FREE series along with the other 3 free series I just finished here if you need to have that information:

Now there are TWO things that can ruin your success with this foolproof business plan.

#1 - Your laziness

If you'd rather watch Netflix and gobble down a pint of ice cream (been there, done that), instead of work until your eyes blur, then you're not hungry for success enough. You might be addicted to whining about being broke and everyone else succeeding.

#2 - Your lack of confidence

You are GOING to be nervous. Everyone is the first few times. Nobody gets a free pass except scammers who have no soul, So if you have a shred of ethics, take that fear and lack of self confidence and wear it as a badge of honor and launch in spite of yourself. Treat yourself like a scared little kid who just doesn't know it's all gonna be okay and play the role of the parent who pushes the child to level up.

Okay I'm getting back to work. Hope this gave you some value and ideas to work with if you've been stalled for too long.

NOTE:

Tomorrow my $1 PLR sale ends. So if you want to start any niche sites, want to educate yourself about something without spending an obscene amount, or whatever - get your $1 per PACK PLR bundles here:
