Marketing PLR, Free Series 5 Day 3, Passive Affiliate Links, & Mindset

Published: Mon, 08/05/19

Well it's Monday! Time to get back to work.

We had a great weekend at my daughter's 15th birthday party. I really enjoyed having my sons and their wife and girlfriend there. When my sons went to the car to load everything up for me, the girls were telling me how amazing my sons were to them. That made me SO proud. Both the boys said after seeing what I went through in my marriage, it made them determined to be good men.

I don't mind being a cautionary tale if it helps me put incredible kids out into the world.

We ended up with a gorgeous cake! I got it from a place called Sugar Bee Sweets Bakery and I had worried that a 10-inch cake would be too small for 15+ people but it was SO tall that we didn't even make a dent in it!

She got chocolate cake with cookies and cream filling and buttercream roses. I love the trend with her friend's group these last couple of years. They all do birthday dinners. Everyone shows up, eats, they do gifts and go home. So there's no crazy event to organize or anything exhausting.

So today, I'm getting all my work done for the week early (aside from waiting on a course glitch to get fixed so I can keep reviewing it) because I want to spend some time working on a fiction idea.

Still haven't found what genre or sub-genre clicks best for me.

You know, sometimes y'all tell me you want to make CERTAIN something will be right for you because you don't want to put a lot of effort into it if it isn't going to be the right choice. You're so hesitant that you stall out or keep buying things because nothing gives you that 100% blanket certainty.

I hear you. I'm the same and I've done it countless times. I'll think of a fiction idea, for example - and I'll work hard on it, maybe even complete the manuscript and order the cover - and then decide it's not what I want to do. LOL!

The key is to stay the course, listen to your instincts and be able to tell whether or not it's just fear.  But quitting something you really want isn't the right option. Keep looking for the right path, kind of like if you were in one of those Escape Rooms and you had to solve riddles and find your way to the finish line.

Okay here's what I have for you today:

#1 - Storytelling Marketing and Psychographics for Markets

These are the deals by Sharyn Sheldon over at Content Sparks.

You get 50% off on Monday and Tuesday only and then on Wednesday the deal disappears and switches to something new here:

#2 - Mindset Success Story

There are some people who work and succeed in this industry and some who struggle and when I look at the struggle I often sit back quietly and observe and see what the issue is. 8 times out of 10 it's mindset. Don't eyeroll this.

It truly IS mindset that determines your frustration levels, perseverance, ability to network and follow through, creativity and more. Alessandro Zamboni puts out lots of "empire" products usually about his niche work and ideas - and they're great.

But he's done something different this time. He's one of the most consistent workers in online marketing, always showing "over the shoulder" walkthroughs and staying on top of new trends. This product is his showcasing of the mindset that helps him achieve this success.

He figured out how to get past obstacles and develop his business. With mindset stuff, it's one of those things you have to resonate with and practice even if you're eyerolling it. Eventually, you find what works for you and maybe you have to walk back some of your scoffing you did (I've had to do this).

#3 - Passive Income Links Cheatsheet Compilation

I think last night Barb Ling's affiliate passive income cheatsheet was just over $4 still. It's a neat compilation of links showcasing evergreen, residual income programs and ideas.

Stuff like this is good to keep handy and to implement a little at a time since there are so many ideas. Just keep getting the links up and over time you have a nice little bundle of passive income opportunities on your site or in your follow up emails, however you want to do it.

I remember one time someone told me to do some sort of Hosting link and I did and kind of forgot about it and it earned me a nice $2,000 one month when it started ranking out of nowhere.

Here's where you can check out Barb's cheatsheet:
