Supplementary Cheatsheet for a Niche I Told You About
Published: Fri, 09/06/19
Well tonight is football game #2 of the week. Now that Scarlett's dating a player on the JV team, she wants to go to BOTH the JV and varsity games, so I'm planning on staking out the parking lot working in my car. I kind of like these nice, quiet evenings with the stadium lights shining nearby, the sound of the crowd cheering and the drumline playing. I'm not one for crowds, so being nearby for my daughter gives me peace of mind, but I can relax or work during her fun.
Okay here's what I have for you today:
A Supplementary Cheatsheet Under $4 for a Niche I Recently Told You About
Do y'all remember at the end of August when I told you about an augmented reality niche for tangible items that's growing in popularity? I gave you the example of the crime wines? If you need a refresher, shoot me an email and I'll send you the link to the email...but what happened is Barb Ling put together one of her amazing super cheap cheat sheets for the augmented reality niche!
This is not a gamer niche, FYI - it's all kinds of stuff like t-shirts, birthday cards, mugs - you name it. It actually started off with gaming when Pokemon Go came out, but it morphed into tangible items for sale. Really neat. I'll be buying stuff like this for my teen and adult kids this Christmas for sure!
Barb's cheat sheet had resources for augmented reality marketing ideas and tutorials, POD tools and resources for getting this done, and some insight on how the niche came about and the power of it.
It started at just over $3 so it's probably not even $4 yet. She does nice, slow dimesales for everyone, which I love. But it started yesterday, so do go take a look and pick it up. This is incredible - could be put to use in a bunch of different niches.
I'm thinking of so many ways you could create or design something really incredible - in addition to the mugs and t-shirts - like toys (thinking like Build a Bear where they input the recorded "heart" saying something to the kid, only this time it's AR technology maybe on the toy itself or a clothing item). There are people wanting card games, jewelry, business cards and tons more.

OH! And I JUST heard something on the radio about this too. LOTS of sports teams are getting in on the action. The Dallas Cowboys are going to have an augmented reality at the stadium this year with larger than life digital players and all sorts of cool stuff. I saw another stadium somewhere that had dragons flying all around.
It's becoming so mainstream so get in on it BEFORE it becomes a household topic.
Tiff ;)
