I'm so glad it's the weekend! This week FLEW by! Today is my "3 weeks til Disney World" milestone and I got my Magic Bands in the mail yesterday (makes it seem real now). I'm still trying to pump myself up to ride scary rides with Scarlett. Got some good tips from people so I hope it helps. We're going to a beautiful resort that I can't wait to stay at - I've been inside, but not stayed there.

#3 - Traffic Tips for Tangibles

So yesterday, someone emailed me a good question about the best way to get traffic to the tangible sites like the Christmas gift ones i was discussing when I gave the brainstorm for my new launch yesterday.

So here are a couple of tips about this.

First - use long tail keyword phrases for the titles and mentioned a couple of times in your blog post. I've gotten great conversions off traffic that came based off long tail keyword phrases. Do NOT worry about search volume. I can't tell you how many times a "tool" would say there were maybe less than 10 searches for a phrase, and there I was, making tons of sales.

With long tail keyword phrases, it's SO easy to rank high quickly. So for example, I'd have a phrase like "toys for teaching my child to tie his shoes" and I'd rank super fast and make a lot of sales. More than what "Google" said I'd be getting traffic wise!

Second - As for social media - forget about Facebook unless it's a topic that really attracts group activity (like survival or whatever). Instead, if it's like toys or something, or gifts in general - learn to master Pinterest! This is THE best site for tangible traffic and it's FREE. Many people avoid it because making the images is time consuming.

But if that's the case, spend ONE or two days making image pin templates that you can then use to swap out promos easily. I love Canva for this purpose. (Also free).
