Watch for This on Your Sites! Plus Add On and Hidden Ideas!

Published: Sat, 09/28/19

I can't tell you how excited I am that it's the weekend. I am resting and working and cleaning house and making this incredible 15-bean soup that's just such a cozy, yummy meal. I have to laugh at what sounds "exciting" to me at age 49 compared to when I was in my early 20s. Doesn't take much, am I right?

So let's go over a few things today:

#2 - Hidden Ideas to Profit From (5 Hour Earlybird Then a Sale)

There's a guy named Trevor Edmun who wrote this great course I just read called Hidden Treasure. What I LOVED about it (and y'all know how I am about this stuff) is that it's ALL about idea generation for lucrative info products (and you could use it for tangible, too) that have to do with where people get STUCK.

This is an evergreen approach to info marketing.

FYI there's a 5 hour earlybird pricepoint (from 9-2 EST) and then a regular sale pricepoint here:
https://warriorplus.com/o2/a/kcv2l/0

I LOVED the way he explains this on page 6 of the PDF. This is a common problem I see whenever people try to think of a good info product idea. His slants are perfect for conversions.

It doesn't have to do with convincing them of YOUR expertise - it's a focus on their "pain point" (not in a literal sense, but whatever their struggle is).

He teaches 5 principles in this course. And the way he teaches it, I always look as I'm reading to see if I, as a consumer, would be converted. And I would. I was reading this one in line with my current effort to kick my sugar addiction and it all made sense. Ultimately, I'm looking to lose weight, feel great, etc. But the ONE element I want right now is to not be a crackhead about sugar.

I did the exercise along with him on pages 11 and 12, too. And FYI this is a GREAT course for those who also want to try their hand at Kindle NON fiction. He has some good step by step examples and exercises for you to do to get going on your own.

#3 - Watch for This on Your Sites

So we've been discussing tangibles this week (and by the way, I'm pasting the links for my FREE Tangible Affiliate Marketing series below as a reminder for you), and I wanted to remind you to do something specific.

When you're running a tangible site, you'll encounter "breakout products."

If you're paying attention to traffic (meaning what keyword phrases are bringing people to your site) and also sales, you'll begin to see a pattern of what's hot and EASILY ranked for online.

And sometimes you can make a killing quickly grabbing a domain for it, setting up a blog and putting about 5-10 blog posts on there dedicated solely to that item.

For example, back when I was running one particular toy site I saw lots of traffic and sales for some little rubber band type bracelet making trend that was happening. So I grabbed a domain (I forget the name because I let it go but it was something generic like "rubber band bracelet kits" or whatever. Something that a PARENT would type in because they too didn't know the exact name of the product.

So I set up a few little blog posts (I think I had six total?) and they were things like a product review about the bestselling one, a top 10 list, a "how to make them" post (where I basically gave some tips and links out to products that came with tutorials built in), etc.

It was something I did in a day - and I made a lot of commissions.

WHY!?

Because consumers saw my site as an authority site. If I want to find out about survival cooking, for example... if I see two links - one says "survival prepping tips" and the other says "survival cooking tips" - I'm going to the drilled down cooking one.

Same with tangibles. If I want to find out about the best baby dolls to buy some kid, I'd rather go to BestBabyDollToys.com than ToysForKids.com, right?

So WATCH for those big breakout items and build a quick site for them. You shouldn't have to pay for more hosting - just a domain and that's like $10 a year. Even if the trend ends within that year, you've added a nice bundle of earnings.

Also, don't worry about pricepoint. If I see that I'm selling a boatload of $5 accessory items, I'll whip up a quick blog on it. Why? Because people "add to cart" ALL THE TIME. I'll have someone go to Amazon to buy that accessory and then they check out with MANY more items that I get commission on! I shop like that myself. If my kid needs a highlighter set for school, I think, "What else do I need?"

Don't forget - I have my Christmas 2019 PLR for gifts on sale for a few more days here: http://plrlaunch.com/christmas-2019-plr/
